About Christine

Christine Surma, CPDT-KA, CBCC-KA

Owner of Dogology, Christine is one of fewer than 200 Certified Behavior Consultant Canine's worldwide. She specializes in behavior rehabilitation of companion dogs, including aggression, and is also is a Certified Professional Dog Trainer.
 
She is recommended by veterinarians, colleagues, shelters, rescues and clients for her expertise in working challenging behavior cases.

Christine is a proud member of the Pet Professional Guild (The Association for Force Free Pet Professionals), and a Professional Premium Member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers.  She received her certifications  through the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers, and is also an Authorized Mentor Trainer for Animal Behavior College.

Christine is passionate about helping families and their pet companions communicate and supports the belief that when both family and dog "speak" the same language, they reach a mutual respect and understanding that reconnects them as a whole.  This sets everyone on a path towards training success. 


She is actively involved in the rehabilitation of shelter and rescue dogs and works closely with those communities to help dogs find loving homes.   


When not working with dogs and their families, Christine enjoys her free time with her husband, Phil, and their two dogs, Carter and Winkie.
